Okay, first things first:
I thought I'd start using headings for these blog posts. This is just a new thing that I'm trying.
What this means for you
As you read through this blog, you're going to see letters that are larger than other letters.
This could just be a phase. Let me go through it; let me learn from my own mistakes; let me find my own way. I need your support now more than ever.
The Firebird - give me your money
Thanks for everyone who listened to and downloaded The Firebird this week. It's now an entire dollar to buy, so I hope those of you who didn't download go find a mirror, meet your own gaze, and take a long, hard look at where you're going in life. Are you missing out on big opportunities coming your way? Are you making the time to play catch with your son? (I'm looking at you, Jim Carrey from Liar, Liar.) I still believe in you. You can do better.
Next time, just download that CFord song.
Reminder: check back this weekend for a new CFord tune. I personally love this next one, and I think you will, too! Even if you don't, it's FREE. So you have only your own cold, cold heart to blame if you choose to dislike it.
Contest: Name My EP!
On to the next matter: on Sunday, when the new tune goes live, I'm also going to open up the creative process for some fan input. This is because I like you guys, and also because it's a clever sales tactic to get you more invested in the creation of this EP. Do you know what my EP should be called? Do you have a creative mind and a knack for attention-grabbing headlines? Can you string a phrase of one to twenty words together and make them sound 'cool'?
Then you should name my EP!
The songs that I'm releasing for download over the next few weeks comprise a 5-song EP. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, to message me at @toolestooles, post on the wall on my Facebook page, and/or leave a comment in the comments section below. All suggestions are welcome, and when I've got enough options I'll throw them up here and open it to voting. Some good, clean, wholesome, EP-naming fun!
Sound like a plan?
Alright, then, I'm out of here!
